Who we are
Tadesse Desta Business Group(TDBG) has been growing progressively since its establishment as business entity in 2003. It is one of the leading Ethiopian companies exporting annually around 400 containers(8000 tons) of Specialty, Single Origin and Commercial Arabica Green Coffee Beans.We have our own washing stations in Oromia Regional State, Western Guji Zone, Birbirsa Kojewa Woreda, Darsa Edera Kebele. We are also vertically integrated with selected suppliers in Yirgacheffee(Gedeb & Aricha ), Guji( Hambela, Uraga & Anferara ) and Sidama( Benssa ).Our coffee processing facility and warehouse in Addis Ababa, Kality Sub city is well-designed and built equipped with Set of Pinhalense Coffee Cleaning machine and Color Sorter has Satake, 6 feed chutes with full color camera technology.
The machine has capacity of processing 8-12 tons per hour. All the processing jobs are mechanical and electrical. The warehouses are clean, with enough lighting and ventilation system, which are very ideal for keeping the quality of the coffeeExplore
What we do
We are known in anaerobic fermentation for specialty coffee. Recently, TDBG will offer coffees certified for sustainability and traceability such as UTZ certified, Rainforest Alliance and organically grown Coffee. Our source specialty and single origin coffee from partnered farmers(out growers) nearby to our washing stations and through vertical integration, and also we buy coffee from ECX.

We work on the entire supply chain to source and prepare highest grade coffees available. We work in harmony and maintain a keen focus on standards and excellence from start to finish.Our specialty coffee is highest grade of coffee available, typically relating to the entire supply chain, using single origin or single estate coffee.
Certified Coffee
Certified coffees take one or more aspects of sustainability into account. We supply coffee grown in a healthy environment, economically viable for farmers, promotes fairness among farmers and workers, or all aspects.Additionally, certified coffee meets all guidelines set by coffee growers and is verified by a certification organization.
Commercial Coffee
Our commercial coffees are of better quality coffees. The main source of the coffees supply is from ECX.All types of Arabica commercial coffees are available in our stock.
Single-origin coffee
Our single-origin coffees possesses unique characteristics and specific tastes. We source the coffee from a specific area with limited range of altitude which shares similar soil types, intercrop character, wild life, weeds, shed trees, flowering period, morphology and harvest season. Besides the coffees have identical variety, produced and supplied by identified farmers who can be traceable.
